iBook G4 Power Adapters/Chargers

I just picked up an iBook G$ (A1133) off of eBay. It is supposed to be a working unit with 10.5.8 on it (which I will try to get 10.4.11 onto, in order to regain the use of Classic mode). It comes with a Charger/Power Adapter. According to the seller, the battery still holds a charge, but I don't have much hope that it will hold much of a charge. We'll see about that when it gets here. I may end up getting an iBook G3 (what some people call the Icebook or Snow Book), the white unit with the transparent keycaps (not the clamshell).

The crux of my question is the Power Adapter/Charger. I think in the distant past, I remember reading that the iBook G4 and the iBook G3 chargers had different tips on the end. One was something like 9.5mm and the other was 7.5mm. Is this true? There are a lot of iBook G3s on eBay, and other sites, but a lot of them don't have power adapters or chargers, so I would like to know one way or the other if the iBook G4's can be used with the iBook G3.

Only the first generation of the iBook G3 (the multicolored clamshell) used the bigger charger. The snow G3s used the same charger as the G4s. Interestingly, early snow G3s came with a version of the Yo Yo charger with a smaller connector. These can be distinguished by their black/dark grey connectors, as opposed to the translucent larger connectors.
