When I first spotted that Auction last night I was chuckling to myself, "Well, it's about time!" Just goes to show that you can in fact sell something when you set a reasonable price. Imagine that! Even so, I paid $75 for mine (plus another $75 for shipping it to Japan by boat).
It would be fun to hear from the new owner here on 68kMLA. I would like to hear his/her experiences.
Another interesting thought since we're on the subject of EBAY, will we be seeing more "pristine" Macs in the future, sold in "like new condition" thanks to H202 and OxiClean? I can imagine some sellers might want to fetch a premium for "100% unyellowed plastics." And until every seller does that job for us, the sellers that do perform the task just very well may grab some extra profits. But I see nothing wrong with that, as I for one like fiddling with a vintage computer that "looks" like it was bought yesterday.
