Color Classic ticking noise - flyback?

I recently got my Color Classic working thanks to a new logic board from @defor. The machine was working fine, though it was making a whining noise. It was not a mechanical whine, there was no HD in the machine and it was not a bearing whine coming from the fan. I put the machine away for a couple days and took it out again today. Now when I turn it on it makes a ticking noise and the video is distorted, it seems unable to sync. The logic board seems to be working fine, I get the startup chime and then a grey screen with a cursor that moves. I did not have any drive hooked up so it would not be expected to boot. The ticking is definitely not coming from the speaker, I can feel each tick if I am touching the CRT, almost like a faint tapping though I am sure it is not actually anything mechanical hitting the screen.

I recapped the analog board a couple weeks ago, I was very diligent checking for solder bridges and bad traces, I fixed a couple dodgy looking traces. The fact this seems to have started with a whine and then turned into this ticking noise makes me think it is flyback related, but I welcome people's thoughts.

Edit: the video shows some of the normal video issues you expect when taking a video of the CRT, the darkening and lightening is a result of this. Aside from the darkening, the image you see is pretty close to what you see in real life.

Problem solved, the wire from the flyback to the CRT had popped out. It doesn't seem to clip in as securely as on the 9" Macs so I must not have seated it properly. Thanks for the suggestion @defor.
