I would suggest just plain ole hot glue just in case you need to service the board/diode in the future. Getting certain glues off for a repair is rather hard depending on the glue.
Also, lots of Capacitors in PSU's are fixed in place with a white silicone style glue and even that can be a pain to remove but not impossible.
I guess what I am trying to say is that a permanent glue might not be what you want.

I used hot glue to hold my cr2032 battery replacements for pram and it holds perfect once cool. I have a black stick I have had forever that is quite strong when cold. I have to get home and look for it. Ill post a picture.
I've used it on PCBs to hold capacitors that didn't quite exactly fit and would bend of left alone. Large filer caps for example. Always works and it can easily be undone if something ever goes south.

Hi, that's a great help thanks. I happen to have some black high temp hot glue from work I was doing building a prop replica a while back so I'll give it a try. I can dab a tiny bit on the diodes with a toothpick.
