ok the LC520 was intensionally slowed down.
The LC550 just has these parts missing.
LC520 is 25mhz
LC550 is 33mhz ( big difference )
All you have to do is remove these parts from your LC520 to re-clock it to 33mhz.
Remove SMT:
R67
R75
R79
This is something that i have been waiting to work on for the last 2 years.
Now that I was finally able to make some time to test… this is what i have…
I ran all the bench marks and the LC520 board now runs at identical speeds of the LC550
even if the cpu is 25mhz chip, doesn't matter. it will run at 33mhz and not even get hot.
