Hello everyone!

Just sharing this story, not because it is impossible to find, I could find 2 used one on Amazon.

Anyway, this little gem popped on french "Craig's list" in my home town of 13000 souls!
The guy had purchased it back in the days for the extensive history chapter and "maybe look into programming".

He was not a retroguy but he was keeping some of his old computer with love.
I should probably ask him if he needs help recapping those.

On a quick look, the book looks really complete, not going too deep, but it does list the functions of the toolbox like a big API doc.

Also quite cute as we are on the edge of entered the www era, he is hinting at things going that direction, it's almost uncanney not having internet mentioned. "In the future, you will be able to transmit Videos, Sounds, and even maybe smells and tastes"

I also find great that it is language agnostic.

One final note is that the author goes by the nickname "Elmer", no idea who that could be and it's a bit weird for such a large publication.
I know this is a bit borderline to be interesting here :) Feel free to close if it's too low in content value.

That is rather cool! Yes, it's interesting that the author chose such a short pen name.

Though I hope nobody does work out how to transmit smells over the Internet.
