Looking into buying the FPU from Silliconinsider for a Classic II 10MB RAM. Should I go synchro at 16MHz or asynchro at 20 or 25? any pro/negs?

What is the price difference?

The difference between no FPU and any at all is huge when you're doing maths intensive tasks such as simulations / spreadsheets, lots of trig, 3D modelling, some pro audio software. The difference between 16, 20 and 25 is much less and basically linear with the clock speed.

On the other hand, most applications don't use the CPU at all.

Most of us wouldn't notice if someone turned off our FPU if I'm honest :ROFLMAO: It was mostly a work, not play thing. If you were making a game or regular application, you want it to work on as many computers as possible.
