Another SE restore (Tidy up?) thread

Well good news starts happening, no tampering/weird mods inside, completely stock, oh well lets brush down the Logic Board, holy shit, no other cleaning, just a brush down with a shavers brush (pictured). Looks really good, no corrosion anywhere. Curiosity got the better of me and without...

Another SE restore (Tidy up?) thread

Getting the itch again I had began scouring the socials for a bargain, was able to get this with the bag, keyboard and power cord (No mouse). So it's a Rev B 1986, I bought it unseen and was dropped it me for $250.00 (AUS), bit of gamble but it felt right. So first look over warning signs...

    Classic Mac Restoration (First Post)

Yeah it would be 1.44, the idea is to plug it into the current MacMini (Silicon) running Ventura, then create disk images..maybe using basilisk? or just download images. Have no idea of the ten minute wait it was just researched from the net

    Classic Mac Restoration (First Post)

More research maybe possible now just need t find my original 1.44mb floppies or buy one to test; 1.) Plug-in your Imation SuperDisk SD-USB-M into the main power. 2.) Plug-in the USB cable into your iMac, MBP, etc. 3.) Wait around 10 minutes. 4.) Only now insert your Floppy...

I have just uncovered all my Apple II software and would dearly love to access it again, currently a working Apple IIc (no monitor) for sale at around $479 (AU), would this be a good option or what would people recommend ? Attached some photos, are the old Floppy 5 1/4 worth any value??

    Classic Mac Restoration (First Post)

Went looking through old stuff in storage, hoping the Indigo Blue iMac was there not looking good 😞 I did find the power cord though, but also found the Imation Super Disk, which got me thinking would I be able to format and write to disks(1.44mb) using the Super Disk and then use them in the...

    Classic Mac Restoration (First Post)

Thanks, I will try that first, don't think it worries me enough to go messing with magnets, hopefully adjusting the screen size will help. I read somewhere to cut some A4 paper to the size attach to the screen and adjust that way, sounds feasable.
