Ah yes, grotty boards. Had a ton of these over the past few years. Vinegar bath followed by a soapy scrub and then IPA rinse is a good alternative to an ultrasonic cleaner. Sometimes I still ended up having to do mass component removal with a hot air gun to finish the cleaning though. Attached some photos of an LC where I had to do this, came up nice in the end though.

Ooof yeah they’re grotty! Although what I originally meant in the post was that the glue looked a bit like the troll meme 😂

I've always wondered about using a detailing gun with air pressure cranked up and loaded with IPA to pressure wash boards as the last step?
