I got a full set of 16MB SIMMs and it worked no problem. My issue was that I was trying to do 16MB SIMMs in just bank A. You're right, they have to be in both bank A and B. Once I did that, no problems.
Attached is my zululog.txt and my zuluscsi.ini (I added .txt extension so the forums would let me upload it, I know you didn't ask for the .ini file, but through it might be helpful).
Here is a screenshot of the directory listing from the SD card.

Where you ever able to resolve this?
I'm running into a similar issue with my SE/30. I'm using this RAM: https://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/30PS16MB/ I bought a set of 8, and put 4 of them in my Quadra 700, where they are working just fine. But when I put the other 4 in my SE/30 it does a...
Possibly dumb question. I have a ZuluSCSI RP2040 in a Quadra 700 and it’s working great. I’m running System 7.5.5. And the ZuluSCSI has firmware 1.1.5.

On cold...

It's still in the original shrink wrap, never opened.
I asked the seller where they got it and they said their husband passed and was a videographer, left a lot of stuff, including this. So I guess...
Those links are interesting. That Taligent screenshot immediately made me think of BeOS. Then I looked at the Taligent Wikipedia page and found this quote:
"The founding lead engineer of Pink, Erich Ringewald, departed Apple in 1990 to become the lead software architect at Be Inc. and design...
You might want to check with Amiga of Rochester. He currently has some of my boards in for a recap. But not sure how extensive a repair he’d be willing to do, and would probably charge you an hourly rate, but worth sending him an email.
Hi,
I'm on a quest to take an SE/30 and absolutely max it out on upgrades. I could use some help clarifying what is possible regarding accelerators.
I'd like to take the SE/30 up to 128MB of RAM, but I see that BMOW says the ROM-Inator II isn't compatible with DayStar accelerators.
And I've...
