As an update to the request for help I made, I’ve tried an other analog board and now the mac is flawlesly working.
That should mean that the fault is in the original analog board.
As said, I’ve followed all the Larry Pinas advices and changed resistors 20, 21 and 22, the U1 chip and the...
Thanks to all you guys in advance for helping me to solve my problem.
I recently bought a mac SE with the tipical scanlines video problem. Here an image of what I’m talking about
As you can see in the image the mac starts to the desktop, the start bong can be heard, but the image displayed...
Hi guys.
Problem solved thanks your advices. My Lisa is once again up and running...
The culprit, one of the two 470mF/250V capacitors from the power supply that was shorted...
But the second time I turned on the Lisa I got the following error

Thanks for the replay, apm. Any advice is of great help because I’m very lost with this Lisa systems. I’ve ordered all the caps for both power supply and video card and will keep the fingers crossed :-)
As you says, Gilles, perfectly looking capacitors can be faulty. I’ll give it a try since replacing the capacitors will not be harmful at all. I’ll keep you informed of my progress...
Hi MOS8_030.
Thanks for your quick answer.
I’ve carefully inspect both power supply and display card and the capacitors look pretty fine. Everything looks pristine new. Anyway, I’ll check them, but I fear the problem is’nt capacitors related.
Hi.
It’s the first time I take part in the forum. I’ve been collecting vintage macs during the last two years and, finally, I’ve been so fortunate to put my hands on one Lisa 2/10. I bought it 4 months ago, and it was perfectly working, but now the display has stop working.
When I turn the...
That sounds not very promising, meaning I will need a lot of work and luck to make it work againHow can I identify this traces in the board and in the schematics?
Hi all you.
This is the video I get from my recently adquired SE/30. No chimes at the boot, but the desktop and the moving mouse pointer can be barely seen, meaning that that the logic board works, but there is an evident video issue.
Cleaning the logic board and changing all the capacitors...
Yes. That's has been the solution.
I've recaped the analog board and resoldered every solder joint and the Classic has return to live!!!
Now there rest two problems to be solved: no sound (wich will require recaping the logic board) and a faulty disk drive, not very hard to be repaired (I hope...
I recently bought a faulty Mac Classic. No bong, no raster at the start at all. Opened the little creature I found some leaky capacitors in the power section of the logic board, which I changed. I also washed-cleaned the logic board. But this is the result, no bong at startup and the image in...
I've changed all the capacitors and refreshen all the solder joints in J1, J2 and J4.
The loose of voltage after a few minutes made me think in a capacitors problem but nothing has changed after recaping the analog board.
Could the variable resistor of the voltage regulator be part of the...
Hello all you guys.

When I start it I get the flup flup flup noice with a black screen.
After an other start try I get a series of start bongs with no image.
The third start try I get the starting bong and the image...
