I have a Classic II w/o internal drive. Using external BlueSCSI.
I will upgrade the fan to a Noctua NF-A6x25. - FLX.
I'm Wondering if anyone has similar experience and if I could drive it at lower rpm like 2400rpm (23m³/h) or 1600rpm (17m³/h) instead of 3000rpm (29m³/h.)

That's amazing! should it be the 3-pin or 4-pin if I want to power this straight from the hard drive power molex? Would you have a video of the assembly? What's your estimated shipping time to the UK? I'm ready to order!

Do I need to discharge the CRT if I will only be installing a FPU and removing the SCSI hard drive or is It safe?
I can leave the Mac off for 2-3 days if needed..
Planning on having this classic on my bookshelf, so for displaying it as well. I would like to add an original floppy unit so can be shown next to it ;-)

There are various external floppy units around - I read about advising against connecting any 5.25 to the DB-19 back port and the like...
Could anyone provide a list of 3.25 and 5,25 units made by apple that could work on a Classic II
