Here a little update:
I have received my FWB SCSI Jackhammer, which I ordered on Ebay. After some experience to get a bootable harddisk, I have format a 8,5 Gb Quantum Viking II 9.1WLS harddisk into two partitions of 3,9 Gb. That harddisk came from an old server, but is in a good condition...
I have tried different RAM-configurations. The configuration "16 Mb in Bank A and 4 Mb in Bank B" and "4 Mb in Bank A and 16 Mb in Bank B" gives the same problem:
- a black screen (even not a sad-mac-screen)
- a startup-sound, followed by an erron-sound
Without the 1 Mb SIMMs, the 4 Mb SIMMs...
If you got only 8 Mb RAM in your IIfx, maybe I can help. I have got 4 64-pin 4 Mb SIMMs, which I do not use, because my IIfx has got already 8 64-pin 4 Mb SIMMs. I have tried to sell it here in Holland via a local auction site, but there was no responce.
