180MHz 603ev CPU upgrade for 5300ce?

I would like a copy of that dump when you get around to it. Or maybe someone with a complete 5300 can do it.

Have attached the ROM here. I hope that my T48 read both chips properly. Can you check if it's valid?

Edit: I just compared the MD5 checksum using openssl md5 in Terminal. The outputted checksum is the same as that listed in the Google Doc linked previously so that's promising.

If it matches the doc, then it's valid and known That does mean that the 5300 definitely shares that ROM, which is good to know.

All 14 of the internal checksums match. The first 5 only apply to the first 3 MiB. The remaining 9 apply to the entire 4 MiB.

Great, because it’s a bit tricky to get a good connection on the SOP-44 zero insertion force adapter that goes into the T48.
