Unfortunately, no...... I was never able to get my Bolle Carrera 040 card to work.@falecore did you ever get it working? I am having type 11 errors every time I boot with bolles 040 card in my SE/30. I have a completely modded Mac with bolles riser, zigzagjoes 30 video HC, color LCD and power backplane. Motherboard is recapped and has new SIMM sockets, PSU is a modern replacement. I have a selection of custom ROMs a programmer and 128mb of RAM. Finally a BlueSCSI v2. The only thing I haven't tried is a better ATX power cable. Everything works beautiful unitl I plug in the card. On a very cold bit it'll load the OS for a minute and then type 11 crash. Reboots type 11 errors every time.
Recently, I was able to test the Bolle Carrera directly, by plugging it into a IIci. Using the OG IIci driver, the machine still crashed at boot. Cannot remember if it was a freeze, or bus error, etc. WHatever it was, it was same as SE/30.
Just an FYI about my setup (Cant remember if I mentioned it) -
Recapped SE/30 w/ ZigZagJoe PSU retrofit. Tested with and without Rominator, tested with 8mb of working RAM. Also, I am using an older bolle mac con "topper card" with the newer Bolle 040 card + cache. The MacCon card tested working, I confirmed dip switch settings for all three cards and confirmed positioning of cards.
Just to be safe, I ran two new low gauge molex wires direct into the bus on the SE/30. Big props to ZigZagJoe for giving me direction on that.
Out of desperation, I also tried testing it in my 5 other refurbished SE/30's. Sigh.
Believe or not, I fairly certain that it's the Bolle Carrera card itself and not the topper card or MacCon card. I went over the card with the microscope and couldn't see anything out of sorts.
At this point, I am willing to mail it to somebody that would be willing to bench test for me.
