A weird sound today came from my Pismo, when I booted it up, it worked fine yesterday and now it's making this goofy sound. I tore it down and tried to find the source of the sound.

I think the dc and sound board can go bad on these? I remember something about power and sound on pismos.
Yup. I looked through my Pismo parts and opened another laptop, that was it.
