Hello,

I plan to sell an adapter on my Tindie store that allows you to use a PS/2 PC keyboard on a Macintosh Plus and maybe 256K/512K. I am looking for 2 or 3 beta testers who have the following equipment:
• Macintosh Plus
• Macintosh 256K or 512K
• AVR programmer (e.g., Diamex AVR)

I will provide the PCB and the adapter to update the firmware for free. This offer is only for Europe and North America.

The final product will be open source.

This offer is reserved for serious people who will provide feedback.

Happy to help if you're still looking - have all the above Macs + PS/2 kbds + a few programmers.

I'm in UK not EUrope tho... 😔

Hi have all of that. Also in the UK. Can I ask a question: is the firmware entirely interrupt-driven, or is it blocking at a byte level?

Hello,

I really need testers for Mac before Mac +.
Firmware is well tested on Mac +.

The firmware is not interrupt driven for now. You can find the sources here : https://github.com/lazaj/PS2KBD_2_MACPLUS_FIRMWARE.

If you're interested I have one PCB left for tester, send me a PM with your address.

The product is already for sale on my Tindie shop : https://www.tindie.com/products/35678/

But I would like to add Mac 128K/512K compatibility.
