As an update, I did end up, having to swap the connector from the old Sony power supply to the new one. The provided
male connector that is intended for the other power supply types, has flat pins, and the Sony male connector has round pins,
And the internal female connector from the original Sony power supply housing does not play well with the flat pins on the
connector that is provided, after I got everything back together, I was having intermittent connection issues due to the
improperly mating connectors. So I had to unsolder the old connector from original Sony power supply and put it on the new one.
As I said, live and learn ;-)
