But traded Macdrone a bunch of my "iffy condition" stuff for a few "working" systems. Got a working SE/30, IIci, and Quadra 950 in exchange for a few PowerBooks of not-perfect shape, an SE/30 logic board for him to recap, a Quadra 630, and, uh... something else? I don't remember what other Mac.
Plus an "IBM PC Power Edition". (Yes, a PowerPC-equipped IBM desktop. Not an RS/6000 workstation, but a meant-for-your-average-desktop desktop computer. (Although the architecture is very similar to the RS/6000s of the same time, just with more standard PC parts like a standard floppy drive, IDE hard drive and CD-ROM drive, ISA network card, etc.) (Sorry, I'm keeping my ThinkPad Power Edition.)
Macdrone sure has a nice garage! Much more organized than my disaster of a basement, with its couple dozen systems that are nigh-inaccessible under the stairs behind a cabinet.
And yes, I think us Portland-area folks need a swap meet. I have a bunch of "surplus" stuff I need to clear out, and I'm more than happy to do a "multiple for one" deal.
