Can someone help me identify this Color Classic's Logic Board?

Howdy everyone,
I just realized it's been about a year since I've last posted. 😅

I stumbled upon this cool little color classic on Yahoo Auctions Japan:

I was able to win the auction, but I'm not quite sure if it works or not, but I wanted to roll the dice and see.
I noticed something kind of odd about the Logic Board, however – it appears that this board was not original to the Color Classic. Could someone help me identify it? I'm thinking it could be a Performa 575, but I'm not quite sure.

I can't say for certain it's a 575, but it has the same layout as one (albeit a.little rusty)

From what I'm aware from this site, they require a lot of shoehorning to the chassis and connectors, but I want to say a 575 is a drop-in replacement (besides the missing plastic port cover).

I actually own a 6320CD with a TV tuner card that may work, but I want to see what condition this one is in first. It might already be close to what I have, or better. At the very least, I might be able to use some of its parts.

Here are a few pictures of 6320CD Logic Board:

Thanks for that I knew the 575 was a drop in but hard too come by at a sensible price now. Seems to be a few 5000 and 6000 series boards about at a reasonable price so was curious. cheers

I was checking out the photo of the back and noticed that the PSU may be missing, or replaced. I'm not quite sure though.

very interesting…. Probably a Takky if that is a Gazelle or similar LB. The board is much longer than the original CC or Mystic LB so extensive surgery may have been performed inside.

Alrighty, I got the machine in. It was well packaged and arrived safely and in one piece.
There's only one problem… the PSU's gone, just as I suspected from the pictures.

I took a few of the machine with the back removed, and it looks like this bracket is something someone either transplanted or modified. My 6320 CD's logic board slid right in without a hitch, and everything seems like it's in decent shape.

I don't own any other Color Classic besides this one, so I'm unable to test it out.

I'm thinking of making a separate post for this on WTB, but throwing my hat into the ring – would anyone be willing to part with a Color Classic PSU? I'll gladly pay for one and shipping.

The power supply is built into the analog board. Not sure what mods have been done to the machine considering it has a powerpc board in it (from previous posts). The cc analog doesn't support 640 without mods. Wondering if it might be better to get a 575 analog and do the mod to fit it (since your analog is missing). Saying that... I haven't read up on the powerpc mod for cc's. Does the standard analog board power supply provide enough current for the power pc?

That is some weird takky mod, the original owner connected the IR/volume/earphone box without allowing for these control outside access - that is pointless? It looks like a 62/6300 board, and that means the whole harness has been replaced; using a 575 board will not help as it is not compatible any more. This is a good candidate for a LCD / SFX PSU mod

I'd sell the Trinitron tube and invest in finishing the machine as a LCD/Takky. BTW I already done one so I could help you out with info etc

Here's a couple of the board for posterity's sake:

Regarding the LCD/Takky mod, that is probably something above my skill level as well as spare time. I might be selling this machine as-is.

If I keep it and replace the missing AB, I might be OK if I don't use any additional cards.

A 575AB mod is doeable, however you still need the flyback from the original CC AB, as it is, it will not work unfortunately. Still , not only the AB is missing but also the video box that connects to the CRT neck. Again, you need the original CC one for it to work with the 575 AB mod

Yes, sort of... that is a LC/PDS LB, so it does not need voltage mods to power the PCI bus.

oh my god that is a battery bombed 630 LB, and the connector to the harness is completely corroded my condolences
I was under the impression the 6200 LB was the one inside the CC you purchased -- my bad

I luckily have a 6320 CD board I popped in there. It's what I swapped so I could take these photos of the destroyed one. ;)
It's in there now and is in much better condition than the one this shipped with. :)

You need to clean out VERY well the contacts in the harness connector... or replace it outright, harnesses do not cost much. I think the worst part of the job in making a Takky is modding the case and this is already been done.

Glancing over stuff (making dinner at the moment), it seems like I would need a:
- analog board
- video board
- probably more
