I want to try s- video in and video in. What software is needed to use this feature on 660-840av models? Want to check my 660 too

You need the video software included on the CD InstallMeFirst for the models. There is video software included on the CD itself for video monitoring and recording.

As a matter of fact, I just checked it. They are located within the "Apple Extras" folder on the root level of the CD.

I have a Quadra 840av that dont show picture, know and working screen. HDD starts and cd opens but no screen. It is recaped.

Inspect the whole board for loose legs, weak solder joints. The 840av boards are prone to it.
