Whatever I install 32 or 16 MB SIMM the computer shows only 12 MB installed. What is going on here?
Performa/LC 520 board can't see above 12 MB of RAM

I don't know the specific terminology, but could they be the types of SIMMs that the Mac sees as two banks? Sort of like some 64MB SIMMs are seen as 32MB and some 128MB SIMMs are seen as 64MB?
Hm. I dont know. Maybe @Franklinstein would know ? It is his board
