I’m going to get some of those cells on Amazon that already have tabs. I’ve found that fast soldering the tabs seems to work ok as you are not soldering directly to the battery.

Can you post a link to those tabbed cells? Especially if you have tried them and they work I have a blueberry and a Tangerine I'd like to get working off the battery.

Gee whiz! That is way too expensive for a battery! Just a couple years ago they were going for about $100 +/- $10 or $20, and I thought that was expensive.

Not anymore!

So as @davidg5678 lamented, I guess buying cells for a DIY rebuild, expensive and risky though it may be, makes much more financial sense now.

Inflation isn't making this hobby easy!
