Upgrading 68LC040 25 to 68040 33 on LC 475 / Quadra 605

I have several LC475/Q605 machines and one came to me with a 68LC040 33 in it. I have another with a 68040 33. On these machines they don’t run them at 33 unless you change positions of two resisters on the back of the mother board. 
 

My question is, most 68040 33 I have seen do not require a heatsync. I’m pretty sure overclocking the 25 to 33 would require a heatsync. 
 

Should I bother with putting a heatsync on the CPUs stamped 33 running at 33 ?

For the price of a cheap meal at a fast food joint, it really wouldn't hurt and offers piece of mind.

I have one on my Perfoma 475 and although it doesn't cover the entire surface area, it definitely helps somewhat.

Doesn't need to be anything fancy, just something low profile obviously, but do spend some money on decent thermal adhesive.
