Hrm, I'm not familiar with the "zones" part of all of this, because I've never seen the original driver nor the instruction manual. If you install MacTCP and configure it how I've outlined above, does that get you any further?

Zones are an AppleTalk concept. If you have AppleTalk set up right, the zones should be visible.

I think your total steps will be:

1. Install driver
   
2. Copy and paste macTCP 2.0.6 to System\Control Panels (I would say Open Transport, but I haven't used it yet so I have no idea)
   
3. Configure macTCP according to the screenshots that I posted above
   

That really *should* be it.

If you are going to install Open Transport on anything System 7.1 or above, I would use this:

1.3 is the highest version that 68k machines can handle.

Sorry, but quick question?  Why has this thread been hijacked for this?  Seems like this would be a better topic for the Compact or Peripherals section.  This thread wasn’t even about a scsi adapter.  It was about a LocalTalk to Ethernet adapter!

Yes. We get that frustration happens, just please try to keep it *reasonably* kid-friendly. There's lots of good sound-alike words or #$#&ing strings of punctuation that can pinch-hit for the f-bomb if it really comes to that.
