That BookCaSE thing intrigues and pleases me greatly... as does this entire thread in fact!

Well, the BookCaSe is pretty incredible. I'm trying to imagine a modern LCD in there alongside the guts of a IIci or something similar. Wow.

For the record, the BookCaSE conversion kit was intended to be filled with the PowerBook 5300 parts, and this (cast aluminium) enclosure and cable kit was offered to me by its designer. And sometimes, when digging back in you photo database, you even find pictures of some clear prototypes that you were NOT able to salvage at this time, sigh !
So this WAS my clear Mac II si, with its clear monochrome 12" monitor: A nice combination for a compact Mac. I don't think someone else could rescue it from the bin...

Rather than relying on y'all to google it, I went out and did the heavy lifting myself.
Scratch what I thought it was. This C610/Q610 has the same nameplate. Not sure what's up with that.
