French KeyBoard

Discovered a Mac carrying case in the back of the cave and inside found this interesting package.

A 128k badged 'thin' Mac with a french KB, a square plug mouse, and apple logo power cord.

The diskette drive needed a little lube. It's working well now.

Pretty sure the case hadn't been opened before.

Please see my gallery titled "Thin 128k, Fench KB "

Nice find! I think the early special language keyboards are cool from a collectors standpoint. Also the "Macintosh 128k" is not super easy to find. Since the 512k was out, most opted for that instead. Even though I own many 128k and numerous 512k, I have yet to have one badged like you have there.

Nice find!
 Thanks. I'm delighted.

This pup has been stored in ' the cave ' since the late 90's, and haven't looked at carefully since then.

Unfortunately, the previous owner engraved [discretely] both the hard case and KB with an identifier.

Also unfortunately, just sold this matched set "box" .

All contents were in French including manuals and software.

The diskettes had many read errors and I didn't know if they could be "repaired".

Suddenly realize that the computer and box probably were stored together  : (
