  1. I have used the 110w from my A1176 core2duo on my A1103 G4 with no problem.... I’ve seen someone say that they are not interchangeable, but the 110w worked fine on the A1103, but I don’t think the 65w will last long on the A1176 trying to pull 110w..... I actually have a red tape mark on the end of the G4 PSU to warn myself..
  2. @elbaroni Here’s what I ended up doing, because an ATA to SATA adaptor will not fit in the drive compartment....
  3. @Mk.558 My G4 mini is great! 1.42GHz, 1GB RAM, 128MB mSATA SSD.. Use a Apple or Kensington mouse for less problems, Bluetooth doesn’t work, and even the Logitech unifying mouse wont work... currently my Kensington mouse is better... Audio output is about 60% - 80% up, at all times, but I use an external mixer.... No wireless, WiFi, or Bluetooth, there’s no OS9 drivers for the “modern” hardware, that came out 4 years after OS9 was killed. I don’t use sleep, so I don’t have a problem there... But it comes with a program called “Slee
  4. @Fizzbinn Apparently this is supposed to work. Check for yourself, and let us know how it works out for you... https://eshop.macsales.com/item/Panasonic/MMINISL8XDL/
  5. YES!!! An easier way to get network and external video!
  6. I’ve heard both are ok, but wondering if anyone knows advantages of one over the other... While checking my bag of cables, I found both, and it made me wonder..
  7. If I knew where my puck mouse was, I’d send it to ya....
  8. FWIW, I have a 10Base-T hub FS in the trading posts right now, but I don’t think I want to try to ship it out of the USA right now...
  9. On my SE the jumper is removed, and works with 4MB.
  10. What’s your current state? Is it working?
  11. I do know that OS 10 needs to be in the 1st 8GB, and os 9 can be anywhere else. I’ve done this on a DT, and AIO, but not yet with SSD... Soon, as I need to get rid of the DT, and want it working with an SSD.
  12. At the next Apple shareholder meeting, someone will stand up and shout ”We have enough iPhones and MacBooks!! Let’s get into the retro computer market!!”
  13. @adespoton Oh well.... I was just going to do it out of boredom anyway.. I still might do it just to benchmark it, but I’ll still need the FW SATA case.
  14. @cheesestraws According to the info I’ve read, FireWire speeds can reach up to 3200 Mb = 400MB That’s why I was thinking of giving it a try.
