  1. I've tested with a browser. But not both at the same time. Hmmm. Maybe I'll get a 10base-T throttle...
  2. So, I finally got System 8.5.1 installed on my LC575. For the life of me, I can't get networking to work. DHCP is not pulling an address. I'm using the Farrallon NuBus Ethernet card. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/111792358051?lpid=82&chn=ps&ul_noapp=true The drivers seem fine. It passes tests. I'm seeing lights on the 10/100/1000 switch and on the card. Any ideas? Thanks!
  3. I got this going... installed Windows 7 on Virtualbox. installed a trial of MacDisk on that. converted the lido hqx to sea copied it with macdisk It worked like a charm! Wish this was easier on linux!
  4. Welp, I finally got to this. All I have is an Ubuntu desktop with a floppy. For the life of me, I can't get Lido written to a floppy. Whether I format the floppy on my mac, or in Ubuntu, it won't mount with write privileges. Has anyone successfully done this?
  5. I have an LC 575 I'm trying to get an SCSI2SD working on. I don't have any other macs (on the net) to use to patch my Drive Setup so I can format any disk. Do you think any of you fine people could, and attach the resulting file to this forum? http://lowendmac.com/2007/format-any-hard-drive-for-older-macs-with-patched-apple-tools/
  6. I just got a 2.1 GB SCSI HD for my LC520(with 575mb in it) ... I can boot to CD, but when I use disk tools on my drive, it lists it as incompatible. It sees it fine. It lists it on ID 0. So there's no conflict... Anyone know if there's a way to make it work? a certain jumper setting that I'm missing? Thanks!
