I ended up switching the 1710av to my Quadra 840av and putting the 1705 back on the 7500. I just couldn't take the eyestrain, at least not on my main mac. Now I just need four 256k VRAM SIMMs so I can run it at 1152x870 @ 16-bit color! Somebody here's gotta have some VRAM SIMMs!!!
