After the 18 posts rawr just made, it got me thinking. If we had a a karma system like the Ambrosia Webboards have, you would have been dropped 1 or 2 points by now.

(is there anyway to do something like that here?)

The karma system basicly works like this (from the Ambrosia Boards):

Each person starts off with zero karma (neutral). Moderators are blessed and Administrators are divine (karma can't be taken away)

Moderators and Admins have the ability to increase or decrease karma. This is a manual process from what I understand. If the person has done something good, his karma can be raised by the Mods/Admins. Vice versa for bad. All Mods/Admins have the ability to do it to any person.

I know this can be done on the Ultimate Bulletin Board software (used by MacAddict and Ambrosia), but from what it sounds like, this was a custom hack made specificly for their forum.

Here, we go to the Veal farm and Steal the Veal!

The calves can't walk, so we take them to one of the nearby cow farms and put them in with the other calves and mother cows.

The farmer that raises (if you can call it that) Veal hates us, but the other farmers hate the veal farmer and don;t care when they end up with an extra calf or 3.

the forum here is one of the fastest ones i've seen;

the most cluttered forums i've found so far are at gaming force. it takes me about 10-15 seconds to load a page with a decent number of posts on it, on my shared t3 connection even.
