That actually makes more sense then you might realize. The ratio of homosexual women to heterosexual women at the 2 local users-groups is 2:1. Do the math on gay+bi vs straight and it comes out near 3:1 The local Windows UG is most definately NOT that. A quick visit to Digital Ops (gamer hangout ww/ lots of gaming boxes) turns out a 2:1 aas well, and the local 2600 meetings, LUGs, and the Ann Arbor Computer User Group meetings (hacker central) all are rather similar. A review of the Jargon file, and research on Hacker culture through the past 50 years will reveal a much higher non-straight sexuality percentage in the hackers' social groups than in the rest of society. they are also far more accepted. as far as I'm concerned, no one's got germs  ~Marchie |

Good point, Marchie! It often seems that Mac users are not only much more creative, but also more open to divergent pathways in their social lives, namely within the context of sexuality.I'll tell you one thing that's for sure...Mac users are much better in bed than PC users!!  666th poster and 666th thread-creator

aye - I've seen much the same m'self over a decade or so of net using, and a few years of computer-club kinda stuff I tried once. (I tried, but didn't inhale ). And no, really, nobody has germs in the sense I said it - but it's still one of the cutest things kids come out with... boy germs! girl germs! COOOOTIES!!!! dana (big kid!) --
