That's alright. If this will be a problem for you, I can understand. I could always just burn the image on good faith and if it works, it works and if it doesn't, it doesn't. iGuess I was hoping someone else had downloaded the .sfv, but it looks like I'm the only one. Thanks again for putting up the ISO in the first place. It may come in handy someday. |

Y'know Cory, I always thought that I was the only person that thought that IBMs look like they should be in banks! "**** em" - Jobs in regards to customers Warrior maclover5 68kMLA Official 68kMLA Detective Number of 68ks Liberated: 7 Number of Contraband (PPC) Liberated from the Dumpster: 1 |

I know how you feel. I've got a 8086, 286 and 386 PS/2. I'd just love to have one of the 486s with MCA It's no more complicated than a 386, though, believe me. Basically just an 8086 on steroids, like all the Intel processors.

Back in the day when a Pentium I was still expensive, I had an AMD 486 DX4/120 on a PCI motherboard with a 4meg PCI video card. It actually ran Windows 95 at a decent speed. I've got another one in the garage that could run Tiny LINUX or something. It's right next to a Pentium I with an AGP slot! |

Crazy PCs.... What vid card does the Pentium have in it? Is it a Pentium I? Does it have ATX? I have a Pentium 1 mobo (a cheap PITA mobo!) that has an ATX power socket, and a hjumpr setting that allows you to switch between AT an ATX. Needless to say, it always stays on AT, because IMHO ATX PSUs are a PITA. As a matter of fact, it does have an ATX power socket. It also has an AT power socket. |

The 8086 I don't know, and it's not here right now so I can't find out. It's the all-in-one.The next one is a model 60 (8560-071) luggable tower. The 386 is a model 50Z or something. That one's not here right now either. quote: what OS's do you run on those PS/2's?
When I ran the 8086, I ran it on MS-DOS 6.22, and that ran S L O W!!The model 60 doesn't have any OS on there right now, but it used to have OS/2 or something. After all, that's the OS that was intended for these machines. Warp would be a bit much for this one, though, both in size and speed. The hard drive is only 80 MB, I think. Any pre-warp version should do, but will probably be slow. With a larger hard drive or 2, you can also run AIX! I think the largest ESDI hard drives were 150 MB, so you probably would want to use 2 to get 300 MB. You could also get an IDE card. Now the model 50Z also has a small hard drive. I found a NIC for it, too. I was planning to put on Tiny LINUX when I get a chance. |

I agree. You'd be totally wasting the capabilities of any AGP card you plugged in there. |
