Could one of you fine folks out there eMail me a copy of the Desktop Pictures control panel and any extension it requires for OS 8.1. The copy I have is definately corrupt and I can't seem to find an app to de-construct the tomb files on any of the CD's or upgrade files I've got.

Next project is to get Basilisk on line. At work shouldn't be a problem. Anyone know if a Winmodem will work as a dial-up device under Basilisk?

TIA

Just FYI:

TomeViewer will open the install tomes in classic Mac OS, and Pacifist will do this under OS X.

There's nothing really inside about it, it's just whenever something's wackily funny, you say HAR! and add the trademark for character. Okay, maybe it is inside...

BasiliskII also runs on BeOS,Linux,Amiga, and various other *nixes.
its not JUST for WINDOWS.
The creaters say that the HIT version runs faster.

Yep, B2 is kick arse! Right now I'm using it to help transfer files and such from this HP to my Duo 280c!

May be somewhat off topic but I've got a problem that someone may have an answer to:

Has anyone sucessfully used NeroMax or Toast (older 68K versions) to burn MAC CD's from B2? I have an IDE CDRW in my PC and have no problems burning MAC CD's from container files using the PC version of Nero but I'd like to be able to burn MAC CD's natively from B2 if possible.

TIA

Do you have a copy of NeroMAX or Toast?
I need a copy.

anyway, you need SCSI access to the drive.
In the Windows version you can install the ASPI layer and go to the SCSI tab inside the BasiliskII preferences utility and click the box to enable SCSI and select a free SCSI slot and click add. Select your device!

This should give you SCSI access to the drive under Windows.
f I can't help you try one of these forums, they have helped me on more than one occasion.
