What drivers does this require?

What you would need is software using the appropriate command set. Some software is autodetecting the command set used by a modem and works out of the box. Some other software needs some kind of modem script or initialisation string to cooperate with a given modem. As far as I know no modem needs specific driver software, so you can use any modem with any software as long you know how to configure it. A very nice software is the Communication Manager CoMa software. Some years ago the support was very well, programming custom modem support on demand.
