Wagon Train 1848

Hey Everyone,

Attempting to get this to work properly for my kids so they can all play some cooperative Oregon Trail (or, Wagon train, I suppose....). So the issue I have is that I must not be doing the network settings correctly for host, client, etc. Whenever one player is the host, they are eternally waiting for someone to connect, and when someone tries to connect, it seems to not work or be seen by the first computer at all. This is between various Macs all connected via ethernet, System 6 and 7 mix. All are able to see and connect to each other via AppleTalk, no issue.

Anyone know how to get this to work?

Anyone know how to get this to work?

It's been years since I set this up but I remember having similar issues. I was eventually able to get it working between my SE/30 and another PPC Mac I think. I believe the problem was that it didn't like my SCSI to Ethernet or LocalTalk to Ethernet converter, and that it required an actual Ethernet card.

BTW, I'm looking for a boxed copy of this to complete my Oregon Trail collection if anyone has one!
