USB Twin Serial Adapter...

macguy

I was given a Keyspan USB Twin Serial Adapter ( two RS-422 MiniDin8

serial ports ) which would allow me to use a MOTU midi interface and

possibly a Apple printer. However the guy could not find the driver

installer CD and the Mac it was installed to is long gone to Mac heaven.

I have had no luck finding the driver thru google except to buy the unit

which is somewhat pricey for my budget on legacy equipment.

Any one have the driver for this unit they could spare or an url as to

where i may download a free driver ?

I plan to use this USB Twin Serial Adapter with my iMac G3.

Have you tried the ones on the Help & Resources page here? I don't think the device models have to be an exact match. Any USA-28X one should work with them.

Yes, i've visited that site after i got the gizmo from the guy but i don't have the ninety bucks plus to buy the software.

I have the gizmo but just require the software driver.

I fail to see what 90 bucks has to do with it

at the top there is a link for support, under that there is a link for drivers, 3 more clicks and there are 4 pages of drivers to choose from

You don't even have to go that far. Under the price is a "Help & Resources" tab. Click that and the drivers are right there.

What a goof ball i is: poor MR MAGOO failed to go into help/resources. Never thought that they would give away the software drivers.

Thanks again for your time and patience with me.
