Update/Request on use of the Conquests forum.

Hey all, this is just a reminder from your friendly local 68kMLA Moderator(s) that the Conquests forum is to be used only for computer-related posts, and even more preferably, for actual conquests of older computers. We'd love to hear about your new ThinkPad or MacBook, but we'd prefer to hear about it in the Lounge.

A few unrelated threads that have already been posted in the Conquests forum have been moved to The Lounge, if you're unable to find something you've posted here in the past few weeks, please also check The Lounge.

Here's an idea that may or may not help: maybe a separate "lounge" for people who have non-vintage Mac conquests or non-vintage Mac mods? After all, a lot of people around here like to boast about their stuff (damn materialists } ) and like to chat about the things they do to their stuff.

This was already discussed in the IRC. Maybe this is a good idea, but at the end of the day it's the job of the mods to come to a compromise instead of thinking "Well, here's my opinion/idea, but another mod will disagree anyway, so let's just disregard that idea altogether."
