Unjamming a 400K Floppy Drive

Has anyone got any secrets as to unjamming the eject mechanism on a 400K floppy drive? I have removed the mechanism from the electronic parts and tried lubing with penetrating oil, and soaking in a degreaser. It is jammed solid. In fact I have two of them that are jammed this way. Any ideas???? xx(

There are a couple of cams on the side of the 400KB drive that can jam because of wear. If this is the source of your problem, it will be obvious because the surface will be worn.
