Uneven PB165c display, should I be content?

I know the passive matrix LCD of that era are not uniform, but this one seems to suffer from uneven backlight.

Shall I take it apart or should I be fine with the contrast setting?

The photos show the contrast at minimum, maximum and the best setting I can get:
