Two surprise conquests today

The first conquest has dragged on since Jan. He contacted me than vanished. Thursday, he surfaced again and told me he had a Beige G3 DT

and three Mac Pluses.

Went over to his place and picked up this;

G3 266mhz, 768mb, 4gb hd, usb card, firewire card beige DT

The second conquest is the biggest surprise. A guy emailed me and asked if I wanted a ibook. Called him and went over and picked it up.

Ibook M6411. It has firewire. The hard drive is gone. He forgot the PS so

will not know the speed till next week.

Felt so lucky today, went and bought a lottery ticket

How do you manage to get people emailing you asking if you want Macs then, did you advertise somewhere that you wanted them or something?

Yes. I ask for non-working or unwanted mac computers. Most of the stuff comes from people who are moving and do not want to take it with them or people who have moved and do not have the space. There just happy

they do not have to get rid of it.

When I started in Oct 06, the plan was to collect Macs for a year. Did not expect to get the quanity or quality of stuff.
