Trying to setup Tweet65, having a terrible time just changing my Ethernet slot ID

As in the title, I’ve gotten SO CLOSE to having Tweet65 setup, except it keeps insisting that my Uthernet II card is in Slot 4 when it’s actually in Slot 5. As instructed, I’ve used Notepad on my PC to create a file named “ETHERNET.SLOT” with “$05” as the sole content of the file, and the file is in the directory (via CiderPress) but it’s still not recognizing it. Is there some subtle tweak to the ETHERNET.SLOT file I’m not getting?

Thanks for any tips!

That config file should only have a single byte, a single hex digit for the slot number. You need to use a hex editor to do it.
