Trying To Identify A Logo

Does anyone recognize this logo? It is on a couple of older power cables and other stuff, enough to make one curious.

hard to say for sure but I *think* its spelled 'hc' (which unforunately is an audio-spammed term on the web now) since 'ch' appears to be a different kind of company&logo that has nothing to do with cables/cords

hope someone else could know more
