Tip: Checkerboard after Recapping Classic

Hi

Recapped my Macintosh Classic, but it booted without sound and gave me this nasty checkerboard pattern.
I was worried that my soldering skills were not perfect and somewhat the caps are misalligned. Cleaned the mobo with IPA. Nothing, just still the bootscreen for chess fanboys. Tried power on/off couple of times.

Then something told me to push the reset button and voila, it's working just fine :)

does it work normally after that? as in, if you power it on after like an hour... will it power up fine?

If you get this symptom and it re-occurs (specifically, the machine is dead until you press the reset button, then it works until you power cycle it), it means that the power-on reset circuit on the logic board isn't working.
