I picked up 2 KVM Cables (VGA/PS-2 Keyboard/PS-2 Mouse), 4 SATA Cables, a USB 2.0 all-in-one Memory card reader and Power brick to power SATA Drives externally. I was more than thrilled to find some Decent KVM Cables, so now I don't have to complain about ghosting on the screens
$42.76 total (USD)
Although some people may say this might be expensive, remember, this was local
I was going to pick up a Core2Duo Processor for a board I had, but they wanted like $130 for the lowest end (which was a pretty decent one) that I wasn't willing to spend the money right there and then for it. I can head to ebay or something to find one that someone "Grew out of" (i.e. upgraded for no good reason)
Still, not a bad trip, essentially since all was NIB, cheap (didn't have to pay shipping) and I got it locally so I can take it back if it didn't work (all the stuff works, and the KVM does exceptionally well)
Oh, and if the Ying-Yang was imbalanced, don't worry. I got bad karma today.
MacFUSE Killed half my windows partition on my MacBook, as well as my PC's Vista drive (Vista blue screens even in safe mode) and OS X won't startup because trying to remove it, i turned the entire extensions folder in /System/Library into a single ZERO KILOBYTE File. Thanks to whoever posted THOSE instructions...
They turned my Mac Useless and my Linux machine is down, so I am on a SEVERELY Screwed up Windows XP Install on the MacBook because of what MacFUSE did to it (messed with the permissions and half my apps won't work now. Luckily my main three apps work. FireFox, Pidgin and X-Chat (for IRC to #68kmla among others
)
Sadly, it sucks when you have to balance all things in life. I still think I got a lopsided deal...
