The Macintosh Joker

I got this off of Amazon for 99 cents + $3 shipping, so $4 in total. :)

It came with the disk which is what I was hoping for.  I was a bit worried at first, the book was really hot and the label came off the floppy disk.  Fortunately the disk worked just fine!

I noticed that the disk is nowhere to be found on the interwebs, so I uploaded it to Macintosh Garden.  Since it's a collection of shareware and freeware, I figure it should be fine.

Now I'm awaiting Stupid Mac Tricks & Tips.  Should be here soon.  Can't wait to back up that floppy, too.

I've been playing around with all the silly extensions, control panels, and sneaky little apps.  Man they're hoot!

Guess the Garden hasn't been indexed yet, as I can't find it with a search. I'm curious to see what it's all about! Nice find! :)

Man this thing is SOOOOO good! A lot of fun!

I needed this in my life.

Thanks Ole for sharing it! Can't wait for the Stupid Mac stuff!!

Yeah sure.

1st picture: Mooof (replaces avery word by Moof) and CHOMP (eats windows, so delicious!)

2nd picture: DOSHELL (new startup image, makes you think your Mac was converted to a 386)

This is sick! You have to be a complete jerk to do that sort of thing to a friend! But so fun!!

The 800k disk includes 33 programs like these.

Mr. Linzmayer included some advice on how to help your victim.

For example, one program produces an "Eeeek" every time you click. He says that you should tell your victim to stop hitting the mouse button so hard! Because he's hurting the small (real) mouse that lives inside of course  :p

Awesome, thanks for sharing this! I have had my eye on that book for a while. I'll probably still get the book at some point, but it is nice not to have to worry about whether it comes with a working disk.
