Hi,
I was lucky enough to just have to pay postage for the interesting PDAs, from a friend:
- Psion Revo "doesn't turn on"; excellent condition. Seemingly was just the old internal battery that hadn't been cycled properly; after a few discharges and recharges it seems fine! Thankful I won't have to open it up to repair either the screen cable or battery pack, a common problem with these units. I really like the screen, and with some practice it could become my ideal PDA. Also included the serial docking station.
- Ericsson MC16 (clone of HP 360LX, circa 1996); WinCE (heh) 2.0 PDA. Nicely designed PDA with CF card slot, PCMCIA slot, IR, replaceable and rechargable batteries and big screen, and a passing off of WinNT 4.0 as it's operating system which is pretty nice. Only problem is ... no software! I've looked and found a handful of apps but it appears this iteration of WinCE was largely unsupported. Still, I'll look around some more and perhaps load it up with as many apps as I can find on a small CF card.
