A number of years ago I gave a musician friend an average 8100. Got it back but with a G3 card and RAM maxed to 264mb. Nicest part was some good cards, a Targa 2000 video card, Digidesign Audio Media II audio and an FWB SCSI jackhammer card.
It's got Adobe Premier 5.1 so I may try some video recording and see how it does
