Sim City 2000 (floppy) in the original box with everything!

This isn't much, but Sim City 2000 was a game I used to play on a LC 575 at elementary all of the time.

So I saw this at Goodwill (the same one where I picked up a ton of Apple Developer CDs and a PB 170 with 1 GB drive) for $5. Picked it up, and it works perfectly! Came with literally everything in like-new shape.

Had to leave a boxed copy of SimLife there though :(

Yeah, I've struck out with Goodwill plenty of times. :(

If it helps, try searching around the VHS/DVD section. The Goodwill here tends to put a lot of floppy media there.

I strike out at goodwill all the time so i quit going there, and i live right by the woodlawn headquarters. Only thing i have ever found there of any value, was a Bally video poker which i had to rebuild, but it works.

I saved up $100 and bought that game new back in 1995, to go with our newly acquired LC575.

All I can say is - porntipsguzzardo!

Awesome. I've still got my copy in the box with the manuals too. I still play it from time to time believe it or not.

I have the special edition, which came on CD along with SCURK and the scenarios. :) One of the best damn games ever.

I hardly ever find anything remotely tech related at my local Goodwill. If anything, it's old toasters and a keyboard or two. I have had better luck from locally owned thrift stores in different communities I've traveled to. My best finds come from a little thrift store outside Naval Air Station Whidbey Island in Washington. Mostly military surplus, books, and mac stuff. I also have a lot of software from a corner thrift store I used to visit as a kid in Chicago.

Thanks all! Yeah, Goodwill tends to be just totally random. You often just strike out there completely because of that stupid recycling thing.

Can't wait to try this on my LC 575 and play it like I used to play it on the Mac I used to play on! I always loved using the robot destruction tool.
