Separating Blue from White of a Studio Display Shell . .

. . . does anybody know of a tool, technique or procedure to do this easily, without marring the plastics?

I've finally gutted my (DOA Flyback equipped ::) ) Blue iMacTripod17 and want to make a pop-top on the back end of the hack. There are some really annoying connectors in there . . .

Does anybody know what the average diagonal of the pixelated portion of the visible 16" diagonal of the CRT would be? 15" perchance? :?:

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What annoying connectors?

After putizink aroundt mit der battery operated Diamond Tip Engraving Tooly, I just bulled ahead, after grabbing the pneumatic metal cutoff wheel and firing up the compressor, I opened up a can of whoop-@$$ on those annoying little suckers and . . . HEH! . . . 'nuff said! [}:)] ]'>

I've now got a Blue iMacTarga17/Tripod! The Blue Pop-Off Hard-Top on the back end of this HackChassis works just fine. All I need to do is take it apart once more and reduce the machine screw count retaining the top section of the Faraday Cage to just the pair that are accessible when the hard-top's popped and then I'm good to go!

You've just gotta love the really long, high quality, integrated XVGA/1080p-Out Cable for the main display! [:D] ]'>

Can someone please give me the spec on the pixel's diagonal on the 16" of exposed CRT face. :?:

For some reason or other, I neglected to fire this one up one last time just to measure the diagonal for myself . . . right before commencing with the lobotomy procedure. :o)
